IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT.

After 3 dates that were not matches on my dating sight the fourth one was a home run. I found my match for right now. I can't even put an estimate as to how long this relationship will last. What I can say is....... we are a very good match.

We had several dates that were broken because he is a pilot who transplants organs all over the country. Because he would be called out when we sat something up, we would have to set the meeting for a next time about 3 or 4 times. I kept meeting other people but no one that I would want to meet out again or have a relationship with. You can never have to many friends but not for dating.

After several of these broken dates and talking with Brian on the phone from every city all over the US. I found Brian to be very interesting and very nice. I kept looking at his pic and thinking Hmmm...... I've always had a thing for Pilots but never had the opportunity to date one or ever really become friends with any. I've always looked in the cockpit each time I've flown to see and speak to the pilot and to give him my Thanks at the end of each trip. I was always happy and felt comforted about my flight after seeing him smiling and standing in the door way of the cockpit no matter who he was or where I was going.

Something about A Pilot Uniform and a Handsome Man Flying A Plane has always been a fantasy of mine.

We met after he had made a flight and was getting in around 7 p.m. at a Mexican rest. I ordered the same thing he did so I wouldn't have to make a decision. I was completely interested in him. He just started talking and off we went like we had known each other forever. I laughed all during the meal. I was going to order an alcoholic drink but when he didn't I got tea just like him and decided it would be better because I could use better judgment. I could have stayed forever cause he kept me in stitches. He has big light blue eyes that look like water in the ocean. A big smile that he keeps on his face.

It felt so great to laugh with someone again. It's been two yrs. almost since Tommy died and I haven't had one thing to really laugh about. I've been having a great time with a great attitude since last Oct. but really haven't had any moments of stomach holding laughing.... just hasn't happened since Tommy died...... until now!

After we ate we stood out by my car and he talked and I laughed some more. He ask if I wanted to meet the next day or what I was up to? I said nothing and sure I'd meet him for a Harley ride the next day. He ask if I wanted to go watch a movie with him. He had the new Densel Washington movie Ell. I had not heard of it but had a great feeling and I wanted to see where he lived so I could get a real pic of who he was.

It's been years since I sat with someone I cared about and watched a movie. The movie was great and he was a great snuggle partner and a great kisser. After it was over I said I thought I should leave and he was a great gentleman. We played on the computer for awhile. He showed me a great place he goes to every yr. in Jamaica at the same resort.

He said he had an extra reservations and did I want to go? Well, Yes Sir I Do! He pulled it up on the computer and it's going to be one big party for 9 days in Jamaica. He's been 14 yrs. in a row and it's an adult resort.

I left with a great feeling of oh wow! Great chemistry, great time, great guy !

I found my way home from his home very easily even though I didn't know Bartlett that well.

The next morning up and early he calls and I ask was he still up for the Harley Ride? Absolutely he said. I got dressed and went to his house where there sits his beautiful huge fully loaded Gold Wing Harley and him standing waiting on me looking fine as wine. He puts my helmet on for me and I say a Prayer Of Safety. He turns on some happy Jamaican music and off we go.

We go for a 3 hr. ride in the country with great Jamaican music playing. It was beautiful, the music was awesome, the ride was more comfortable than a mercedes and Brian was just as much fun as the night before. We stopped for lunch at a place called route 64 diner. It was a really cool looking place with a great burger. We came back the scenic route and it was really pretty with wooded winding roads. A great place to ride a Harley like his.

When we got back it sure felt great. It was a hot day even though the bike ride was awesome. His cold air conditioned house felt great. I ask if I should leave and named somethings I could be doing in case he wanted the date to be over. He said no he wanted me to stay.

The motorcycle was great and we cuddled and played around a little on his Harley as we were on the highway. It felt great all of it together and I knew the chemistry and fun was all there.

I'm finished fishing now on plenty of fish dating sight for as long as this last.

I have one last date with someone else I promised I would go see cats with and he already has the tickets for tomorrow night.

After the Cats date tomorrow I'm going to see where this road with Brian takes me and see him instead of dating so I can put an honest effort into making this a great time, with a great guy, for as long as it's meant to be. I'm hanging my fishing line up and bring in all the nets and lures. lol

So far it's great chemistry, great romance, great guy, fun, airplanes, harley's, saving lives and a trip to Jamaica in the works.

I'm on my way now to renew my passport

After we have our Turkey Day, these turkeys Brian and I are off to Jamaica for 9 days.

DREAMS OF MEETING MY LIFETIME SOUL MATE

Tomorrow I'm meeting someone new. I'm very excited about this meeting. He's an airline pilot.

He carries organs for transplants all over the country. He's a great guy who saves lives everyday sounds like to me.

He likes to ride his Harley

Looks very handsome in his pics and sounds very nice on the phone.

So as Scarlet would say.... OH Fiddle de... I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow.

Off to bed cause it's a big fish day tomorrow for me.

MY JOURNEY INTO THE UNKNOWN

I've finished my school as a Docent and graduated. I'm undertaking a new area in my lifestyle. I'm starting to date on a free dating web sight. I'm writing my experiences down here in my journal as I have them. I think it will be a hoot to go back and read about each person, how each in counter went, the things we did and my first impressions after several months or a yr. from now.

I guess this is kind of like " sex in the city " except I'm naming my experiences " DREAMS OF MEETING MY LIFETIME PRINCE SOUL MATE "

Plenty Of Fish..... and there are more fish here than in all the rivers and seas in the world.

I have been on this free sight for 2 weeks and talk to many men, searched their pics, their words and their thoughts. I've met 3 men out somewhere and these are my experiences so far.

The first one was named " memphissingle" He was a very nice gentleman and took me out to a seafood rest. I had a glass of wine and he had sweet tea oysters and shrimp. I had oysters one of my favorite. We agreed to meet again and go to the Orpheum and see Cats. I've never see Cats and he hasn't either. We both are looking forward to dressing up and seeing this show. I was much more talkative and out going than he is but it was a pleasant encounter and I enjoyed dinner and the time I did spend with him but I had to do all the talking. He did not have any wow factor at all but a very nice guy. I'm looking forward to seeing Cats and giving it one more try. He did need a lot of dental work and that turned me off a lot. He did say he was having that done so we will see how that goes also.

The next guy was bluehawk. He drove 2 and 1/2 hrs to get here and that much to get back to meet me. He was very nice and out going very romantic and I had a little more physical attraction to him. He treated me very nice and when I said with my body language that is enough he took all the hints and left like a gentleman should . I had one drink of a margarita with him over several hrs. together. We listened to music, danced and did some snuggling but he had bad teeth too and looked very weathered, not really my type but I did enjoy his company and his chose of music and having someone to snuggle just a few moments with. He wasn't a match but I still talk to him

The last date I've had was tonight. He was named " Yeeehi." We met at Tom Lee Park and watched the river at about 4pm . He's a truck driver and did not really smell good. He also looked like a hippie from back in the 60's. Well I decided to make the best of it. It was hot as a pepper patch so we got a Popsicle when the popsicle man came by the park. I took some pics of the river and talked with him for a while. We then went up to Beale St had a Dyers Hamburger famous since 1912. We then went over to Handy Park and listened to some great blues music in the park. We sat on the side of Beale after a while and I had one drink from Wet Willies. I left my car parked in Tom Lee Park so at about 9 p.m. I was tired and had him drive me back to my car. It was a fun night but he's not my type and really didn't have great hygiene even though he was very nice I'm just not into hippies or the look any longer. I Thanked him and we held hands but I just couldn't hug or kiss him.. I took some great pics of the river and what went on in the park and we both had a nice evening.

At this moment I have " Gold wing guy " trying to im me but I'm ignoring the im because he wants me to go on a Harley Davison riding with him tomorrow. He's an air pilot also but I'm not to sure about jumping on the back of a Harley with a completely stranger. My enter voice is telling me to pass this adventure up or at least meet him on something besides his Harley the first time. I am always going to listen to my enter voice that's God speaking to me.

I have had one big disappointment since I started this. A very handsome man talked to me all night one night and was moving here to memphis in a month. He was so charming on the phone so handsome and talked like a great person. We had a lot in common but after two days of talking with him I had a few signs of he's cheating. I made him confess and yes he has a regular girlfriend. We had a date set to go somewhere with white linen cloth red wine and a very classy place this Monday night for fine dining. He looked so much like my type and what I was attracted to but..... I told him no I would not meet him and broke the date because I'm not dating anyone married or who has anyone who is going to be put top priority over me. I'm looking for friends and unattached men to have fun with and in the end to find my soul mate that we can fall deeply in love with.

I've had this twice in my life and I've fallen in love at first sight twice. I know this type of love exist and I'm praying to God to help me find this person once again. I have faith when the time is right he will walk right into my sight and I will know it just like I did with the other two loves of my life the moment I lay eyes on him but until them I'm still fishing and have my nets, bate and all my fishing equipment in tip top shape. lol

What's so cute is my girlfriend made me a pair of earrings out of fishing corks. She put the fishing swivel onto the top of the plastic red fishing cork and put an earring hook on to the top of the fishing swivel and it makes the cutest earrings for fishing for a man than you could possible think of wearing. So now I'm bob bob bobbing along fishing for men with my fishing plastic cork bob earrings. I will post a pic when I can get one up of me in these earrings. THIS IS THE STORY AND PICS OF MY JOURNEY THIS YEAR THROUGH THE MEMPHIS ZOO DOCENT PROGRAM WHERE WE ARE THE #1 RATED ZOO IN THE NATION. I'M NOW A PROUD OFFICIAL " KHAKI MAFIA " AT OUR #1 ZOO IN THE NATION WHO WILL DO MY BEST TO SHOW ALL WHO ENTERS THE ZOO GATES THE BEST TIME THEY COULD POSSIBLE HAVE.

This is one of the most awesome things I've ever done is being in this program and being a part of the Zoo. The Docent Program is designed for many reasons. One of them is to explain to people who are very misinformed or just would like to know more about our zoo and the things we do and our about our animals. Our animals are not stressed at all by being caged. If you have visited our zoo you will see millions of dollars have been spent on our zoo in the past 10 yrs. and that much more is planned for the next 10 yrs. Our exhibits are made to look and feel like the animals natural habitats in the wild. The exhibits are made large enough for all of our animals happiness. They do not need to hunt for food so the space to hunt is not necessary at all. We have a hospital and vets on our property for their care. Our animals never have to be prey to animals in the wild or hunt for food themselves. We have a full food facility with awesome fresh food always. We have enrichment toys and even smells they love put into their exhibits. Our zoo is rated the #1 zoo in the nation. Never are our animals mistreated abused or stressed by their care, our employees or allowed to be by the public. Our animals live longer in our zoo than they would in the wild because of the great care, food and best medical care possible daily.

Come on out to the Memphis Zoo there is so much to learn and so much fun to have. We will be more than happy to inform you of many misconceptions that you may have and teach you about our education, conservation, scientific research and recreation to this generation and all of the generations after us so that "EXTINCTION" will never be a word used with any of our animals on this planet. Kenny Glenn my Husband's Best Friend and business partner shot and killed himself after he hired a person to kill someone. I've known Kenny for 40 yrs and my Husband did wonderful things for Kenny for 40 yrs. Starting the day my Husband Ronnie was killed Kenny has been trying to steal for the past 11 yrs land on Goodman Rd that belongs to my Husband from Elizabeth and me. He was never a friend to anyone, not even hisself. He hired a man to kill another man. Kenny gave him $600.00 a gun with bullets and told him to shoot the man in the head and the heart. This is what a man like Kenny is capable of doing to a widow, a fatherless child and another man. This is only a small part of what Kenny's life was like and how he treated every life his life touched. Read this article it will turn your blood cold. WHAT I DO AT THE ZOO IS AMAZING

This is a video of what I do at the zoo. ( the exact thing the narrator of this video is doing) This video is of our zoo & the most recent upgrades the memphis zoo has made. THE TETON TRECK LODGE AND EXHIBIT HE SHOWS YOU IN THIS VIDEO IS FINISHED NOW AND THE WOLVES AND BROWN BEARS LIVE IN THE HABITAT. THE LODGE IS AWESOME AND WHERE THEY HAVE MUSIC, DINNER AND DRINKS ON THURSDAY NIGHTS CALLED UNPLUGGED. AN AWESOME PLACE TO GO RELAX AND SIT IN FRONT OF THE FIRE FOR AN EVENING OF FUN FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT.

I was nose to nose with the white 2000 lb. Polar Bear in this video today. It's amazing how the zoo keepers interact with these wild animals on command. They take shots, get rubbed, all kinds of things just on command without any drugs to put them out. You haven't had excitement until you squat down in a polar bear's face & exchange breaths as you look each other in the eyes with nothing between you & them. I WILL NEVER FORGET ALL THESE EXPERIENCES OR STOP DOING THEM UNTIL THE DAY I DIE.

Besides going out and teaching like this guy is doing in this video. I get to go where the zoo keepers go to feed and work on and with the animals. I get to go where they prepare their food and do all the things that they do with them. Most amazing thing I've ever experienced.




I HAVE FOUND MY FOREVER NITCH IN LIFE. I AM GOING ON A SAFARI WHEN I GRADUATED THE ZOO CLASSES AND ON MANY OTHER ADVENTURES BUT THIS IS MY HOME BASE AND WHERE I WILL BE ALMOST DAILY.

MY DOCENT ZOO CLASSES

My Docent class at the zoo feeding the giraffe's. I'm the one in the dark coat.

This is Sherry (class mate I clicked with from the the beginning ) feeding the

Yesterday we were with the primates.

(Some types of Monkeys and humans are the only things on earth that Mates with only one certain male for life. Monkeys do a better job of it than Humans.)

Every morning the monkeys come out and go to each side of their habitats and yell, their neighbor on each side yells back. After they do that to each side of their area and every neighbor yells from every side of their habitat they all go to the middle of their habitats and eat until they get full then they swing and play until they get tired. The rest of the time they groom each other. At night they eat again, go to each side of their habitat and yell to each of their neighbors. When they all answer they go in and go to bed.

They do this in the wild too. One male with their one special female for life and their babies always stay as a family in their own certain area. They never cross over to each others area. They only yell at each other to make sure they are over there. In this video the monkeys in the end with the big throats are the ones that do all the yelling. They mark their area by urine so other males and their families doesn't come into each others area. It's awesome to hear them calling all over the zoo and watching them. WE'VE HAD 3 SNOWS THIS YEAR AND THIS IT THE LAST ONE ON 2/8/2010. THERE ARE SLOS SOME PICS WHERE THEY FIXED THE LAKE BEHIND MY HOUSE BACK TO IT'S BEAUTIFUL STATE BEFORE THEY PILED DIRT UP IN MY COVE FOR YEARS.

I ALSO GOT THE JOB AT THE ZOO AND IT'S JUST AWESOME. I HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL FOR 3 MONTHS AND THEN I WILL GRADUATE AND BE A DOCENT. I WILL THEN WALK AROUND TO DIFFERRENT EXHIBITS AND TEACH ABOUT THE ANIMALS TO THE GUEST OF THE ZOO.

I'M HAVING THE TIME OF MY LIFE

I NOTICED I HAVEN'T UPDATED SINCE THANKSGIVING. I'VE BEEN SPENDING A LOT OF TIME ON FACEBOOK AND MYSPACE. TODAY I WANT TO CATCH UP ON THE WONDERFUL THINGS I'VE DONE SINCE THANKSGIVING.

I VISITED MY FRIEND IN JACKSON MS. JUST BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND STAYED 8 DAYS WITH HER. WE HAD A BLAST. SHE JUST MOVED INTO A RETIREMENT ESTATE AND IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL. THEY HAD SO MUCH ENTERTAINMENT EACH DAY AND SHE WON THE DECORATING CONTEST FOR CHRISTMAS OUT OF OVER 100 APTS. I HELPED HER HAVE AN OPEN HOUSE FOR EVERYONE WHO LIVES THERE TO COME VISIT AND SEE HER APT.



I LEFT HER HOUSE AND DROVE TO MY DAUGHTERS HOUSE ON CHRISTMAS EVE. AND SPENT THE NIGHT AND CHRISTMAS DAY WITH BOTH MY DAUGHTERS AND GRANDCHILDREN WHICH MADE FOR A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS.

AFTER CHRISTMAS WAS OVER I GOT A VISIT FROM MY BROTHER HIS BOYS AND WIVES AND ALL OF THEIR CHILDREN. SOME OF MY GREAT NIECES I HAD NEVER MET BEFORE AND IT WAS AN AWESOME VISIT



ME WITH MY GRANDSON'S AND ALL MY GREAT NIECES AND NEPHEWS.

NEW YEARS WAS APPROACHING FAST BY NOW. WHILE ON FACEBOOK THE FAMOUS PEABODY HOTEL RAN A CONTEST ON FACEBOOK TO WIN TICKETS TO THEIR NEW YEARS EVE PARTY. YOU COULD SEND IN ONE PIC A DAY OF YOURSELF AT THE PEABODY PUT A CAPTION ON THE PIC " NEW YEAR, NEW MEMORY."

THE PEABODY WAS MINE AND TOMMY'S FAVORITE PLACE IN MEMPHIS. WE WENT THERE ALOT AND I ALWAYS HAD MY CAMERA. I PUT A DIFFERENT PIC OF US IN THE PEABODY FROM YEARS PAST IN THE CONTEST IN DIFFERENT PLACES INSIDE THE PEABODY EACH DAY FOR 14 DAYS THE CONTEST WAS HELD. I WON !!!! I GOT TICKETS TO BOTH PARTIES FOR TWO ON NEW YEARS EVE. I TOOK MY DAUGHTER AND WE HAD A MAJOR BLAST UNTIL 6:30 AM THE NEXT MORNING. WE DANCED OUT SOCKS OFF ALL NIGHT LONG.

AFTER THE NEW YEARS PARTY WE ATTENDED THE MEMPHIS ZOO LIGHTS WHICH WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND WE HAD THE BEST TIME EVER HERE TOO.

I'M BACK SUBSTITUTE TEACHING KINDERGARDEN - 12TH GRADES NOW AND ALL THE HOLIDAYS ARE OVER EXCEPT FOR THE SNOW DAYS WE HAVE BEEN OUT. I TAUGHT ALL DOWN SYNDROME CHILDREN LAST WEEK, 3RD GRADERS AND IT WAS SO MUCH FUN.

THIS BRINGS MY JOURNAL UP TO DATE EXCEPT FOR THIS LAST MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT I HAVE MADE. WHILE VISITING THE ZOO I FOUND OUT ABOUT A DOCENT PROGRAM THAT CAME OPEN AT THE ZOO. A DOCENT IS A TEACHER. THE ZOO HIRES DOCENTS ONCE A YEAR AND YOU HAVE TO BE PICKED OUT OF A VERY LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE. THIS YEAR THERE WERE ALMOST A HUNDRED AND THEY ONLY WANTED 20. I MADE THE CUT AND NOW I GET TO GO TO SCHOOL AT THE ZOO FOR 3 MONTHS. ANOTHER DOCENT WILL FOLLOW ME AROUND AND HELP ME TEACH ABOUT THE DIFFEERENT EXHIBITS OF ANIMALS AT THE ZOO TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD. I'M SO EXCITED I CAN'T CONTANE MYSELF.
